Skinbooster

The Skinbooster is a relatively new skin rejuvenation treatment requested by an increasing number of our clients. It is a treatment which uses micro-injections of a very soft hyaluronic acid to improve skin hydration, firmness and luminosity (glow). Skinboosters differ from regular fillers as they are extremely soft and work via biochemical properties. They reverse the skin ageing process by reintroducing hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar molecule which gives skin plumpness and hydration.

Profhilo, or the injectable moisturiser as it is also known, is another way of delivering the hydrating and skin-plumping ingredient hyaluronic acid into the skin. Hyaluronic acid Is found in plenty of moisturisers and naturally in our bodies, but as we age, we stop producing as much of this hyaluronic acid.
Injecting it this way rehydrates and rejuvenates the skin's surface, minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and providing” the glow”, Improving skin texture, elasticity and hydration with an immediate tightening effect.

Bin those creams and potions that promise but rarely deliver and treat your skin to this revolutionary hyaluronic acid non-invasive treatment at Bay Aesthetics. I had my first treatment last week and OMG!  Firstly, I met with Olivia who went thru the treatment and benefits. She then thoroughly cleansed my skin and with expert hands marked the key areas on either side of my face to target. 5 pinprick jabs of this highly concentrated hyaluronic acid into the areas. No downtime, but there were little spots or lumps that quickly disappeared into the deep layers of skin.  Over the next few days and weeks this will help produce collagen needed for skin rejuvenation, but, here's the thing, after just a couple of days my skin is glowing! A radiance that no cream has put there. Two treatments are needed, 4 weeks apart and I can’t wait to see the full effects. So far, it’s amazing.
