How long does a thread lift last?

The threads of a PDO Thread Lift last in your skin for 6-12 months before dissolving completely. That being said, the anti-wrinkle skin rejuvenation effects of a thread lift can be visible for up to 24 months after the treatment.

PDO Thread Lift

PDO thread lifts are a non-surgical way of tightening and rejuvenating the skin for a younger appearance. The threads used in this procedure are made of polydioxanone (PDO), an extremely safe material often used in heart surgeries. It does not produce allergic reactions or rejection and has no side effects. These threads dissolve naturally in around 6-8 months, with the effects lasting from 12 up to 24 months. The threads also stimulate the synthesis of collagen and fibroblasts and increase oxygenation of the skin over time, meaning the results of the procedure continue to improve after 6-8 weeks.

I had my first treatment last week and OMG! Firstly, I met with Olivia who went thru the treatment and benefits. She then thoroughly cleansed my skin and with expert hands marked the key areas on either side of my face to target. 5 pinprick jabs of this highly concentrated hyaluronic acid into the areas. No downtime, but there were little spots or lumps that quickly disappeared into the deep layers of skin. Over the next few days and weeks this will help produce collagen needed for skin rejuvenation, but, here's the thing, after just a couple of days my skin is glowing!
